PRODUCTS AND REVIEWS

Its time to swap your coffee and carbonated drinks for these FIZZ STICKS.

Ive never been huge into drinking coffee but I can’t even lie, I definitely love my carbonated drinks. People that are mindful enough of their calories/sugar consumption will usually just opt for a diet version or a sugar free energy drink and argue that its a better option. But realistically everyone knows consuming any of these probably isn’t the healthiest for us considering the amount of chemicals they contain.

PS if you struggle with your hormones or any type of issue with breakouts, I know for a FACT the aspartame in these products are not helping you out. Speaking from experience!

Anyway doe..to the point. 😜

When I joined Arbonne, I decided to try their fizz sticks based on a friend’s recommendation and have been hooked on then ever since. 😍 The packaging is similar to any powdered water enhancer and is super convenient to just rip open and toss into your water in the morning, before a workout or realistically at any point in the day you feel like you’re needing a kick.

In comparison to your coffee and other standard carbonated pops, Arbonne Fizz Sticks:

  • Promotes alertness
  • Enhances metabolism
  • Improves mood
  • Regulates blood sugar
  • Supports immunity

Not only are these fizz sticks made from all natural ingredients, you’re getting so many health AND lifestyle benefits out of literally one serving.

Make the swap!! You won’t regret it 👏😊

đŸŒ±đŸ€‘GO GREENđŸ€‘đŸŒ±

Powdered greens and mineral supplements are specifically formulated to help you obtain a ton of health-boosting vitamins and minerals in the easiest way possible.

Specific ingredients definitely will vary by brand, but common ones include ingredients such as spirulina, chlorella, kale and kelp to list a couple. Most of these brands also include probiotics as well as digestive enzymes making it obvious how superior these powders are when it comes to meeting all criteria when it comes to your body’s overall immunity and functionality.

The research on powdered greens supplements is varied. Some research claims that these supplements are the magic bullet for health while some say that these supplements provide no more benefit than your average grocery store fruit and veggie selection. The truth likely lies somewhere in the middle but will definitely be most relevant to YOU, your diet and your lifestyle.

BRANDS I’VE TRIED AND LOVE:

I am currently using Arbonne (obviously!!) but I have used the following brands before joining Arbonne and they are also great and definitely superior in quality if ya’ll want to do some research on your own👏

🧡 Happy September! 🧡

Hi guys!! I know it’s been a while but I am finally back with a review of a great product I’ve been using for the last couple months that has been a solid staple in my diet.

ARBONNE ESSENTIALS PROTEIN POWDER

After doing some product research in search of a high quality plant based protein supplement after phasing out whey protein supplement sources, I came across Arbonne’s current supplement line.

To keep it short and sweet, what caught my attention quickly was the fact that all Arbonne nutrition products are designed and formulated without artificial colours/flavours, artificial sweeteners, animal products, cholesterol and unhealthy fat sources and a formulated with the most natural ingredient sources. Arbonne takes pride in sticking to a very long list of over a thousand ingredients that are banned from their products on their “not allowed” list of ingredients, which is incredible in comparison to a lot of other supplement companies pushing products on the market, I was immediately intrigued.

I tried out the Vanilla flavor first and loved it. Taste and nutritional profile was definitely superior to the majority of plant-based protein supplements i have tried previously so that was an immediate win. No gritty texture at all, low in calories while it’s protein content is quite high considering it is completely plant-based.

2 SCOOPS – 160 Calories

47% protein – 18% fat – 35% carbs

Ingredients:

Arbonne Protein Matrix Blend (pea protein isolate, cranberry protein, rice protein),

sugar cane, cocoa powder, natural chocolate flavor, sunflower oil, corn starch, inulin, xanthan gum, stevia leaf extract, flax seed, gum acacia, guar gum.

Price: $$$

In general plant-based/began proteins WILL be expensive but like with anything, you honestly get what you pay for.

For anyone that is interested, Arbonne does offer a constructive program where you can save by becoming a client. Click here or follow the link below to check out my personal site referral.

If you struggle with bloating from whey/isolate protein sources, digestive issues or any sort of diet intolerances, I would suggest trying a plant-based protein supplement. Arbonne is definitely a sure-shot in my opinion based on other brands I’ve tried such as VegaOne, Blessed, Kaizen to name a couple.

Consume what you like and love, I’m just here to share what is making my list these days!

P.S. planning to designate more time to keeping this section of the blog updated so make sure you are subscribed and following along if you are interested!

Sending you love,

Hello there & Happy December!

I haven’t spoke much about the rough time I have been having recently with my hormones, although now seems like a great opportunity to talk about it. This is definitely not my first rodeo when it comes to dealing with an imbalance of my hormones, although due to a few recent changes in my life, stress levels as well as physical body changes, ive definitely noticed the impact my skin has been subject to as a result.

If you dont know, now you know, that there is a very strong link between hormones and skin issues. This can be supported by evidence and explanation regarding skin sensitivities/acne showing up during puberty, pregnancy, menopause/post menopause, steroid cycles etc. normally due to imbalanced levels of estrogen and high levels of testosterone in the body.

Hormonal changes can also have an effect on pre-exisiting eczema conditions due to a drop in estrogen, which also can occur during menopause, pregnancy, and before a menstrual cycle. This decrease causes the skin to lose water, interfering with its ability to maintain moisture leading to dryness, ultimately making eczema worse.

Although I’ve been able to manage to my eczema and psoriasis flare-ups pretty decently through internal/diet solutions, issues relative to breakouts are probably at the top of the list when it comes to my frustration. That mentioned, I thought it would be beneficial to talk about a couple products I have introduced into my routine recently along with the improvements they have contributed so far during this time when my sensitive skin has been a bit more problematic than it normally is.

I came across Nature Republic’s line back in the summer, being intrigued by the aspect of korean beauty and skincare associated with this company. Initially I started using this cleanser to double-cleanse on the days/nights where I was wearing heavier face makeup, although I quickly committed to using it way more frequently when I noticed how good and clean my skin felt after as well as the fact that it did not cause any purging or irritations at all after a few uses.

Ingredients: Water, sodium laureth sulfate, myristic acid, triethanolamine, lauramide dea, cocamide mea, cocamidopropyl betaine, aloe barbadensis leaf extract, glycerin, palmitic acid, glyceryl caprylate, sodium benzoate, sodium chloride, dimethicone, tea-dodecylbenzemesulfonate, dimethiconol/silsesquioxane copolymer, laureth-23, disodium edta, phenoxyenathol, fragrance.

Where you can purchase: Amazon, iHerb, SOME Walmart locations (Oakville, Burlington, Ancaster)

Id highly recommend giving this aloe cleanser a go if you’re after a good, gentle cleanser that gets the job done while speeding healing with the amazing benefits aloe is known and recognized to deliver.

Next up is Clean & Clear’s lemon slice cleansing and exfoliating pads.

On a regular basis, I don’t wear much makeup although I am definitely in the gym sweating my face off. I started using these as a quick fix to cleanse my skin after the gym as well as really anytime I wanted a quick refresh on the go. These are definitely refreshing and smell AMAZING if you like anything citrus-y. Although I haven’t been consistent enough with these to see any improvements relative to skin “brightening” that this product promises, I definitely have noticed an improvement in oil control, plus they get the job done quick and effectively.

Ingredients: Water, SD Alchohol-40B, Polysorbate 20, Glycerin, Isoceteth-20, Salicylic Acid, PEG-32, Fragrance, Sodium Citrate, Citrus Limon (Lemon) Fruit Extract, Dimethicone Propyl PG-Betaine, Ascorbyl Palmitate, Citric Acid

Where to Purchase: Really any large canadian retailer such as Walmart, Shoppers drug mart, superstore etc.

Saving the best for last, I can definitely state that I have found my holy grail for dealing with my problematic skin conditions (psoriasis and eczema) that no other topical solution has been able to help me with.

My mom actually originally ordered this for me from amazon after getting sick of listening to me cry about how bad my psoriasis was getting on my forearm without any improvements over weeks that turned to months (i will include a few pictures of how inflamed it became). Puriya’s “Mother of all creams” has been a HUGE godsend in helping me get a handle on recovering this area. It contains all natural ingredients, smells incredible (peppermint scents = always a vibe) and I noticed results relative to taking down inflammation within two days. It is not only targeted to help with inflammation and swelling which is what I needed the most, but is also targeted for burns, scrapes, rosacea, severely dry skin and other skin conditions that require some intervention.

How inflamed my forearm actually got, super painful and swollen

If you are interested in making a few changes to your skincare routine or have any issues similar to mt own, I definitely recommend trying these products out. None of the forementioned has been sponsored, I am solely sharing my experience of these products based on how impressed I was when skincare product promises have typically been a let down for me previously in the past. Hope this helps you out slightly if you share a similar experience!

See you soon!
